Thai Boxing Instruction
At the Phoenix Fight Club, emphasis is placed on achieving optimum physical fitness. Small class sizes ensure that students are able to obtain one-on-one direction from qualified instructors. This hands-on approach helps students to perfect technique, form and accuracy, but most of all it delivers results, insuring that students stay motivated and have fun.
Through steady, total-body workouts, students will increase their strength and stamina. Qualified instructors help students to learn valuable defensive and offensive maneuvers that will equip them with confidence and the ability to get in the ring, if they choose to do so. Classes at the Phoenix Fight Club are an hour and a half in length and are held throughout the week. The workout regimen includes an emphasis on Thai Boxing as well as heavy kicks.
Tuesday and Thursday nights are Thai Boxing classes and on Wednesday nights both seasoned fighters and beginners take part in the club's plyometric explosive training class. An intense cardio and muscle workout, plyometric explosive training toughens tissues and trains nerve cells to create more powerful muscle contractions in a shorter amount of time, which improves performance. The Phoenix Fight Club has an open-door policy on Friday nights for sparring, though no one is required to fight. The Phoenix Fight Club also offers private lessons and seminars.
